1 Corinthians.2.2-5
For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling.
My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of
the Spirit's power, so that your faith might not rest on man's wisdom, but on God's power.
I want to walk in power.
I want to see that Christ leads me in triumphal procession (2Cor.2.14) everywhere, I go.
I want to see that I have the spirit of him who raised Christ from the dead living in me, active (Eph.1.19-20; Rom.8.11)
I want to see victory all over my world, as is my mandate. (Matt.28.18, Matt.10.1, 8)
A deep fire has been growing in me for God to teach me how to disciple women, and this morning in my God-time, training commenced:
Lesson One: Let God do it! It's all by his power... not by my fine sounding arguements (which are actually only fine sounding when I'm by myself... around people, my words get muddled... which is probably God's grace, considering the above quoted verse... considering that's what happened to Paul).
Now, my prayer is that the power of God would be evident in me as I speak, as I love, as I play. People can think I'm a fool all they want so long as they recognize the power of God in me, and take it for themselves.
Closing remarks and exhortations: Praise the Lord! Do not conform to the pattern of this world. Let your conversation be seasoned with salt. Find out what pleases the Lord.
Pictures and stories will come of our amazing cell retreat this weekend. (Emphasis on amazing)

Sacrifice
I have decided that the Pain of Sacrifice is much less than the Pain of Punishment and of Consequence. I am only just beginning to feel the pain of sacrifice, but the perspective God has given me through it all is that the pain of disobedience would be far worse, and far more regretful. Disobedience and stubborness carries a high price.
I believe that:
"My God is more than enough,
He can supply all my needs,
He is my El Shaddai,
He always looks out for me!
Jehovah Jireh - He is my God!"
ARISE, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples,
but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you.
Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.
Lift up your eyes and look about you:
All assemble and come to you;
your sons come from afar and your daughters are carried on the arm.
Then you will look and be radiant,
your heart with throb and swell with joy;
the wealth on the seas will be brought to you,
to you the riches of the nations will come.
Isaiah.60.1-5
Nothing satisfies but the presence of the Living God.
No amount of friendship, excitement, or activity will satisfy, once you have tasted Jesus. Smelling the life to come (now exisiting only in dream) will ruin you for all other dreams and ways of life.
All I want is to think on Him, to talk about Him, to worship Him, to be with Him, to work for Him... Nothing less will do.
The Lord gives, and the Lord takes away. Freely you have received, now freely give.
